BRIGG TREE PRESERVATION ORDER APPLICATION SUBMITTED

An application has been made to trim a tree that has been in a protected area for more than a quarter-of-century.
It is located off Wrawby Road, which is well-known for having a wonderful avenue of trees on both sides of the A18.
An application to undertake pruning of a tulip tree has been submitted by a resident for Kingsmead, 29 Wrawby Road.
North Lincolnshire Council is now considering the application.
The tree is subject to the Tree Preservation (29 Wrawby Road, Brigg) Order 1992, made in the days of the old Glanford Borough Council, which was then the local planning authority.
