BRIGG SPORTS CLUB TO CELEBRATE 150TH ANNIVERSARY

Ancholme Rowing Club and Glanford and Scunthorpe Canoe Club are hosting this year's River Festival in Brigg.
It is also the rowing club's 150th anniversary.
A celebration party is being held at Scawby Village Hall on 30th June.
Any past members welcome. Tickets are £15.

The Ancholme River Trust's River Festival will be held on Saturday, May 26, from 10am.
"Join us for a day of family fun," say the organisers.
There's free entry to the event based at Ancholme Rowing Club's Manley Gardens HQ.
There will be an opportunity to try rowing, caneoing and kayaking.

Ancholme Rowing Club was founded in 1868 - just a few years after Brigg Town Football Club.
