DRONE PICTURES OF BRIGG ENJOYED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD

Neil Stapleton's impressive bird's eye drone pictures of Brigg have 'gone global' on the internet.
Following Brigg Blog's post featuring 12 of Neil's best images showing various locations in and around the town, Cliff Turner, a former Brigg resident now in his 90s, emailed us from his home in New Zealand.
We think Cliff is our most distant visitor in terms of mileage, and probably our most senior reader.
He followed our advice by double-clicking on Neil's images to view them in greater detail.
"Wonderful," Cliff commented. "No doubt many Brigg people in several countries would have felt the same."
Regular Brigg Blog readers will recall that, some time ago, we serialised Cliff's memories of growing up in Brigg.
A member of the Turner family renowned as Brigg butchers in Queen Street, he recalled happy days in the 1930s and 1940s, including his time at Brigg Grammar School prior to joining the Royal Navy.
