HOME FIXTURE COMING UP FOR BRIGG TOWN FC

Brigg Town Football Club first teamers - currently at the foot of the ToolStation Northern Counties East First Division - have a home fixture coming up on Saturday (January 6).
The Zebras will be hosting mid-table East Yorkshire Carnegie at The Hawthorns (3pm KO).
This club is based in Dunswell, to the north of Hull. So we can expect a number of Carnegie fans to make the shortish trip over the Humber Bridge for the game.
Brigg's match last Saturday at Campion fell foul of the wintry weather.
Unfortunately for the Zebras, Retford United - the side immediately above them in the standings - did manage to play on Saturday and gained a valuable point.
They are now three ahead of Brigg but our side has a much superior goal difference - and also FOUR games in hand on the team from North Notts.
So there's still real hope that the Zebras can avoid the wooden spoon at the end of the season.

Grimsby Borough currently head the division, on goal difference from  Knaresborough Town.

Our archive picture shows players shaking hands prior to the start of Brigg Town's final home game of the year in late December 2012, when Rainworth visited the Hawthorns. Brigg are in their familiar black and white strip.
