BRIGG COMPANY PUTS THE CASE FOR GO-AHEAD TO BE GIVEN

Brigg Blog discovered a gem of a visitor attraction for families, which is located just a short drive from the town.
We went along to take a look and were most impressed.
So - 18 months later - we are interested to see that Hall Farm, South Kelsey, is the subject of a current application under consideration by council planners at the moment.

Brown & Co, of Market Place, Brigg,  is acting as agent for the farming concern's outline application to erect one dwelling for an agricultural worker.
K C & V F Knapton, of Hall Farm, Thornton Road, South Kelsey, are seeking approval from West Lindsey District Council (WLDC).
Brown & Co has told the council: "K C & V F Knapton are proposing to erect an additional dwelling to be occupied in connection with Hall Farm mixed arable and livestock agricultural enterprise, and in association with Hall Farm Park located within Hall Farm, South Kelsey."

Well-known in Brigg from his many years as a hockey player and Rotarian, local councillor for the Kelsey Ward, Lewis Strange, pictured, has told planners that he fully supports this application.
"The farm and visitor centre  is a real success, with hundreds of visitors  every  week," he says. "They employ local people and  I  believe WLDC should do all  we can  to  support  the venture."

Brigg Blog has checked and Hall Farm Park will be operate the following opening hours from Saturday 13th January to Sunday 11th February 2018: Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.

Only recently we reported plans for another visitor attraction seeking approval in West Lindsey - just a short drive from Brigg. View full details through this link...
