REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 2017 IN BRIGG - SECOND BATCH OF 30 PICTURES FEATURING THOSE IN THE PARADE

Due to the very cold weather in Brigg on Remembrance Sunday 2017, many townsfolk who turned out to watch the parade and the wreath-laying ceremonies were in need of refreshments.
They were queuing on the door at Costa Coffee and other outlets serving food and drink were also kept busy as people waited in the town centre for the parade to re-form outside the Wrawby Street entrance to St John's Church, following the service.
Later, some of our hostelries offered free pints to former and current servicemen and women following wreath-laying at the Monument war memorial.

Chris Darlington, one of the volunteers who oversaw the road closure so the ceremony could take place on the A18, observing the two-minute silence.
