BRIGG TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB PICTURES FROM THE PAST

A bumper crowd of more than 200 watched Brigg Town Football Club's local derby match with Winterton Rangers at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
Less pleasing was the result - the Zebras losing 1-0.
This prompted us to trawl back through our picture archive for some pictures taken at a game five years ago this month.
The one above, taken near the dressing rooms, shows striker Bruno Holden, with Kenny Bowers on the right.
That match in September 2012 against Halesowen was played in glorious sunny weather.

In an earlier blog, Nige, you mentioned that Brigg Town FC previously played at a ground behind the now demolished Brock Ox.
Before then, their ground was the sports field in Station Road, belonging to the Convent School in the old Masion House.
They moved to the Brock Ox for the 1939/40 season.
