BIN COLLECTIONS IN BRIGG - CHECK YOU KNOW WHICH TO PUT OUT AND WHEN

Brigg households are being advised which bins to put out this week due to the bank holiday on Monday, August 28 being a day off for the hardworking collection crews.
We suggest you check the information that follows to ensure you don't miss out.
North Lincolnshire Council, which sends out the  bin lorries, will be collecting on TUESDAY, AUGUST 29:
Green or black general waste wheelie-bins
Blue boxes containing newspapers
Green boxes filled with cans and glass bottles
Bags containing textiles
Also note that collection of brown garden waste bins will now be carried out on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 (amended date).
Due to a major cycle race coming to town the following week, there will be NO COLLECTIONS of bins on Tuesday, September 2.
They will be calling to empty Brigg's burgundy bins containing plastic and cardboard on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 (amended date).
Things will then get back to normal on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 when the council will empty general waste wheelie-bins, blue boxes containing newspapers, green boxes filled with glass and cans, and bags containing textiles.
Regarding the bike race, the council says: "Waste and recycling collections will be suspended on Tuesday 5 September 2017 when North Lincolnshire hosts the Tour of Britain cycling race."
The local authority is advising householders with a Tuesday  collection day to be aware of the changes Brigg Blog has just outlined.
If you need to contact waste management staff at any time, email wastemanagement@northlincs.gov.uk
