SAVE MONEY IN BRIGG - PUT THAT LIGHT OUT!

Apologies in advance if this issue in Brigg town centre has been sorted since we last looked at the weekend, but this street light has been burning brightly - day and night - for many weeks.
Today's bright and sunny weather seems a good time to draw attention to the faulty light - between the Angel and Buttercross public buildings.
Switching it off won't save much public money in a multi-million pound budget, but every little helps, as they say.
North Lincolnshire Council has installed some new LED lights on other side of the Market Place and along Bridge Street, and they use much less electricity than the old type.
  • The light that's been "out" halfway down St Helen's Road, Brigg, for many weeks is still awaiting attention.
