POLICE ALERTED TO BRIGG 'CYCLING ON PATHS' PROBLEM

The safety issues posed by adults riding cycles along footpaths in Brigg were raised during the public forum section of the Annual Town Meeting, held in the Angel Suite this week.
Sandra and Roger Clarvis drew attention to the issue on Bridge Street.
She said "grown adults" were riding on the pavement and "hurtling past."
Coun Rob Waltham suggested the issue should be added to a list of matters to be drawn to the attention of the police.
Coun Mike Storey said where was a need for "local policing."
Humberside Police were not represented at the meeting.
