There is free children’s entertainment for the BDN Construction Family Extravaganza - soft play, giant assault course, super hero sumo suits, bouncy castle and slide, plus a Scrummy Easter egg hunt with prizes for youngsters and parents alike.
As well as the horse racing, there is a race for children on the track.
Remember, all accompanied under 18s are admitted free of charge. Children aged under 12 years also receive a free two-course meal in the Brocklesby Suite restaurant with adult reservations booked in advance.
Young adults, aged 18 to 24 years, can get half-price admission by registering at RacePass18to24.co.uk to receive a free RacePass membership card. Senior citizens can obtain discounted admission by joining The Diamond Club, with details available online.
All three enclosures – County, Tattersalls and Lawn – will be open, offering visitors a choice of where to watch the races and enjoy refreshments. Adult tickets start at £9 when bought in advance.
The County Enclosure has several bars and places to eat in a friendly atmosphere, including the County Bar with great views or a table in the Brocklesby Suite Restaurant.
Within the Tattersalls Enclosure, visitors watch the horses as they parade and get up close to the winners. There are various bars and eateries, including the tote Exacta Bar and Red Rum Bar.
A fun family day out can be enjoyed in the Lawn Enclosure. Bring a picnic (please note, alcohol is restricted to 1/2 bottle of wine or four cans per person). There is something for all ages - along with views of the parade ring, there is a playground for children, free children’s entertainment and the Victor Lucas Bar for the grown-ups.
Nadia Powell, General Manager, Market Rasen Racecourse, said: "An Easter Monday out at the races is the perfect answer for the final day of the school holidays. As well as all the excitement of the horses, the racecourse is laying on lots of free entertainment, including appearances at intervals by Bing & Flop.”
