CHRISTMAS CHANGES TO WASTE BIN & BOX COLLECTION - ALL BRIGG PEOPLE TAKE CAREFUL NOTE

FROM NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL

Waste and recycling collections will change over the festive period due to the bank holidays and to allow an extra collection of your general waste.
Check your collection calendar carefully to make sure you don’t miss your bin and box collections this Christmas. If you don’t have a collection calendar, you can check your collection dates online or call 01724 297000.
IMPORTANT - Link to check your collections here...
To enable us to make an extra general waste collection, brown bin collections will be stopped temporarily over the Christmas period from the week beginning Monday 19 December. Your green or grey general waste bin will be collected with your burgundy bin instead of the brown bin.
Brown bin collections will start up again on the week commencing Monday 2 January.
All bins, boxes and bag collections week commencing Monday 26 December will move to the next day.
For example, if your normal collection is on a Tuesday, your collections that week will move to Wednesday 28 December, Wednesday collections will move to Thursday and so on through to Friday collections that move to Saturday 31 December.
All collection dates will return to normal from Tuesday 3 January 2017.
Household Recycling Centres will be open as normal over the festive period, apart from on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, when they will be closed.
