BRIGG PUBS & EATERY DID US PROUD

Brigg Blog was proud to show friends and journalistic colleagues from Scunthorpe and Grimsby what our town has to offer in the run up to Christmas.
Friday night saw a group of us meet up at Dexters to enjoy a fine festive meal, with good service, in the upstairs restaurant area of the former Black Bull Inn.
Either side of that we visited a number of hostelries - Yarborough Hunt, Nelthorpe Arms, Dying Gladiator, Britannia and White Horse (Wetherspoon's).
We think that's them all, but it was getting a little difficult to keep count by the time Tony Beel arrived outside Wetherspoon's with his Brigg mini-bus to take the remaining group of visitors back to the steel town.
During over travels we met Andrew ('Arry) Harness in the Glad; he and other ex-members of Brigg punk band The Diseased were heading off to Brigg Servicmen's Club where 'Arry was celebrating a milestone birthday.
It was a busy Friday night for hostelries across the town, with much cash being splashed.
