BRIGG DISTRICT DINERS TO BENEFIT

A pub/restaurant frequented by many people from Brigg and district has been granted approval for an extension.
North Lincolnshire Council has approved plans for a single storey extension and associated alterations to form additional dining accommodation at the King William IV, 177 Scawby Road, Scawby Brook.
The successful application was made by publican Peter Carter, a former mine host at the Dying Gladiator in Brigg.
A council report said: "The extension will not impede vehicular access to the rear car park as it extends no further than an existing porch structure off the side elevation. It is not considered the proposed development will result in adverse effect upon residential amenity."
