SETTLING THE ISSUE OF NOVEMBER SNOW IN BRIGG

Some national media outlets are currently running stories forecasting forthcoming bad weather, including snow, rain, hail, sleet and high winds.
Yesterday, while we were aboard an early morning No 4 bus from Brigg to Scunthorpe, we encountered some light snow for a few minutes in the steel town.
First snow of the winter, yes. But hardly reason to get carried away. It didn't settle. Blink and you missed it!
Decent, settling snowfalls in Brigg during late November are rare but do happen every few years.
These pictures from the Brigg Blog archive are proof of that. They were taken on November 29, 2010.
Can you remember this unseasonally early snowfall?
