A recent journey from Brigg to Lincoln by public transport took us by bus from Wrawby Road to Barnetby, where this welcome addition is now in use at the railway station.
It's a ticket machine allowing travellers to save money on TransPennine Express journeys by paying their fare before they board the train, rather than tendering it to the conductor.
The new machine's homescreen tells train-users: "Save over 50 per cent when you buy in advance at tpexpress.co.uk."
