FLYING THE FLAG FOR BRIGG

There have been a number of  complimentary comments about this year's bunting in Brigg town centre.
The bunting has been provided by the Town Council and the new stock has proved particularly hard-wearing.
There were instanced past years when high winds brought some of it down to ground level. But this has not proved to be the case during 2016.
The new stuff is still going strong and here we see some of it along College Yard.
The majority, of course, adorns Wrawby Street, where most of our shops are situated.
One sunny Sunday afternoon during early summer we took a picture of the bunting near the Deli & Diner - and the Town Council liked the image so much they chose it for inclusion in the local authority supplement within the Brigg Matters Newsletter (see picture below). Brigg Blog was quite flattered.
The question now is: How much longer will the bunting be kept up in the town centre?
