A BLAST FROM THE PAST: MEET UP & REMEMBER BRIGG IN THE 1940s, 1950s & 1960s

FROM KIM DRABYK, MANAGER - BRIGG HERITAGE CENTRE

We have an event coming up next week. Could you please add this to your calendar.
Brigg Heritage Centre is proud to present 40s 50s & 60s Reminiscence Days.
Brigg Heritage Centre is in the Angel building in the market place in Brigg and is wheelchair accessible. Come along for a blast from the past for reminiscence sessions for seniors but anyone is welcome.

  • Remember the 40s – Tuesday 4th October
  • Remember the 50s – Thursday 6th October
  • Remember the 60s – Friday 7th October

Please pop in anytime between 10am and 2pm. There is FREE entry but we will be serving refreshments from the time for £2.
Hope to see you there.

N.F. ADDS: Thanks, Kim. We can see all three sessions proving very popular and Brigg Blog is happy to help spread the word. These Ken Fisher Collection colour pictures of the past show (above) Spring's factory from the County Bridge and (below) barges near Earnshaw's woodyard, viewed from Cake Mills Bridge with the Lincolnshire Wolds in the distance - this being Lincolnshire Day.
