LAST CHANCE TO NOMINATE SOMEONE FROM BRIGG AREA FOR COMMUNITY AWARD

Have you nominated yet? The deadline for nominations for the Community Champion Awards is Sunday 18 September – make sure you don’t miss out!
This is the fifth Community Champion Awards and will be held at The Baths Hall on Thursday 24 November to recognise peoples’ achievements across North Lincolnshire.
Do you know an individual or group that deserves an award:

  • For the time they have dedicated to volunteering?
  • For their contribution to the health and wellbeing of the community?
  • To recognise their personal achievements in overcoming barriers or excelling in a sports or the arts?
  • For their work in the local community?
  • For being a true inspiration to others?

Nominate them for one of the 22 awards.

If you are unsure on what award to nominate someone for, call the Sport, Leisure and Culture Team on 01724 297270.
Winners will receive a trophy and certificate, and runners-up will receive a certificate.
Coun John Briggs, Cabinet Member for Commercial Enterprise, said: “We have received some brilliant nominations already but I’m positive there are even more inspiring stories in our communities across North Lincolnshire.
