AWARD FOR LINCOLNSHIRE FIRM

Congratulations to Gordon Tulley, whom we've met in Brigg a number of times, on receiving a national award in London from a  TV personality.
The first time we met Gordon he had a stand at an event in the Angel building, offering advice about 'green' burials,  and the last time, we think, was during an awards ceremony at the Carers' Centre, on Redcombe Lane.
Gordon is pictured above with colleague Alison Finch, left, and TV Personality Penny Smith at the Good Funeral Awards 2016.
Gordon's Respect Direct Funeral Services won the Best Alternative Hearse Award for what he calls a unique bespoke 1948 Bentley Mk 6 Special (pictured below).
It's worth considering if you are looking for "a rather stylish and unique Final Journey," he suggests.
The bier which carries the coffin is from a 1912 Viceroy Carriage and suitable for most coffin sizes with its additional adjustable frame.
Gordon's business is not based in Brigg but our town is within the area it covers. There is a funeral park at Laughton. Respect Direct Funeral Services' contact details are 01427 612992, drivers@Respectgb.co.uk and www.RespectGB.co.uk
