BRIGG BEST-KEPT GARDEN COMPETITION 2016 PRIZE WINNERS

The winner of the competition to decide the best-kept garden in Brigg has been decided.
He is Tom Booth, of 39 Grammar School Road, who received his prize from Town Mayor Coun Ann Eardley in the Angel Suite.
Mr Booth is pictured above pointing to a photograph of his prize-winning garden.
The Mayor thanked Alix Brown, of Brigg Garden Centre, for undertaking the final judging of the gardens, and fellow councillors for judging the first round.
“Every area of the town is walked by a team of councillors who draw up a list for final judging,” she explained.
There was also a thank-you to Tom Glossop, Freeman of Brigg and former long-serving councillor, who took photographs of the gardens seen on the display board above.
