BRIGG BAND TO PLAY TWO GIGS IN A DAY

Brigg band The Dirty Pitchers have a very busy day coming up tomorrow  Saturday, September 10.
They will be playing at two community events in the district.
First up is Broughton in the Park  at our neighbouring town's Recreation Ground, off Scawby Road - an event which starts at noon and runs into the evening.
The band say: "It's set to be a great day full of all kinds of activities and performances, so worth going for the day. We are playing early at 2pm as we have another gig later in the day, so would be good to see you bright and early at 2pm at the playing field. Let's hope the sun shines."
Next comes Bonby Day, on the village playing field, which begins at 1.30pm with a wide range of entertainment, games and refreshments. Bonby Night, featuring The Dirty Pitchers, starts at 6pm.
The band says of the organisers: "They have been kind enough to invite us back for a second year to finish off the day's entertainments. It's a great family event which is on all afternoon and evening, along with other musical performances. We really enjoyed playing there last year so hope to see you all there."

Our picture shows The Dirty Pitchers performing in the beer garden of the Yarborough Hunt pub, on Bridge Street, as part of Brigg Bike Night 2016.
