CONSIDERABLE REDUCTION IN BRIGG CRIME


There has been a signficant decrease in Brigg crime - month on month.
Latest figures just released through www.police.uk show 37 crimes reported during June 2016, compared with 47 in May.

JUNE'S CRIME BREAKDOWN

  • Anti-social behaviour 8
  • Bicycle theft 1
  • Burglary 4
  • Criminal damage and arson 2
  • Drugs 3
  • Other crime 0  
  • Other theft 5
  • Possession of weapons 1
  • Public order 0
  • Robbery 0
  • Shoplifting 0
  • Theft from the person 0
  • Vehicle crime  2
  • Violence and sexual offences  11

Thirteen of the 37 crimes (overall) took place within the town centre.

Brigg crimes mentioned here were all within a one-mile radius of the police station, which takes in part of Scawby Brook/Waters Edge (in Broughton parish).
