The location is given as the B1208 from the A18 to Brigg Road, Castlethorpe.
North Lincolnshire Council has been informed.
Northern Powgrid has told planners: "As part of our ongoing programme of maintaining the electricity network in our area we are proposing to rebuild the existing overhead lines at Castlethorpe, Brigg.
"The work will involve replacing the existing low voltage electrical conductors in favour of an aerial bunched conductor.
"The existing 4 wire electrical conductor will be bunched into an insulated single wire arrangement."
