The applicant is Mrs C Brodley, of 16 Wrawby Street, whose agent is John Knight, of Paul Fox Commercial, 32 Oswald Road, Scunthorpe.
The proposed number of people to be employed in the building is five, and "hours of opening" are given as 8.30am to 5pm - Monday to Friday only.
The application form submitted to the council says the whole site was used as a health and beauty salon with off-street parking - six spaces.
The application is now under consideration.
