BRIGG TOWN COUNCILLORS TO CONSIDER WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS

Brigg Town Council has a meeting tonight (Monday, July 25) which is open to interested members of the public. The venue is the Angel Suite and the start time 7pm.
Access to the Angel Suite at this time is day is through the Rotunda, the conservatory-like building at the back of the building on the edge of the car park.
Items of interest on the agenda include:

  • Public Question Time
  • Monthly report  on Brigg items of interest from the Brigg & Wolds councillors who serve on the North Lincolnshire unitary authority
  • Request for grant aid towards new equipment from Ancholme Rowing Club, based on Manley Gardens, Brigg.
  • Request to install a public seating bench on St Helen's Road made at an earlier meeting by Tom Glossop,  Freeman of Brigg and former long-serving councillor
  • Consider refurbishment of the Tin Tab(s) public seating shelter near the Monument war memorial
  • Proposals for the future of the Millennium Green, off Elwes Street.
  • Brigg in Bloom Project update and options.
  • Brigg allotments report (Atherton Way/Redcombe Lane and Grammar School Road sites).
