WHAT BREXIT WILL MEAN BY MAN WHO WENT FROM BRIGG TO EDIT TOP NATIONAL NEWSPAPER

Former Brigg sixth former David Yelland, who went on to become editor of top-selling national newspaper The Sun and is now a highly-regarded political commentator, had this to say on Twitter this morning about Britain's planned exit from the EU: "This will take years. Brexit: the world’s most complex divorce begins."
Whether people voted for or against staying in the EU, we think David has summed things up nicely.
If you are a Brigg Blog follower and want to comment on the result of the vote, please email scoopfisher@aol.com and we may look to include some of the views received in a future post.
