NEW BRIGG TOWN CENTRE FLAT TO BE CREATED

Brigg businessman Derek Bradley is planning to create a new ground floor flat in the town centre.
The building at 3 Garden Street once housed his insurance-broking office.
Derek has told North Lincolnshire Council planners: "It lends itself to a nice ground floor flat close to the amenities of central Brigg.  We already have the Planning Permission in place. I would now like to complete the refurbishment as soon as possible.
"The present frontage is certainly not the best and it is in everyone's interests to improve this.  I fully support the spirit of Conservation Areas."
Derek is now asking North Lincolnshire Council to agree to him  re-aligning the property's windows.
Brigg Town Council has raised no objections and the request is now being considered by the North Lincolnshire authority.
Our picture above was taken some time ago, looking along Garden Street from its junction with Queen Street.
