BRIGG RESTAURANT OFFERING SUPPORT


Andrew Markham reminds us that, on Tuesday, May 31 Le Raj Restaurant, in Brigg town centre, will be hosting a charity meal for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness.
There's a set menu with five dishes for £9.95p. Sittings are available from 6pm to 8.30pm.

Very good value...good food, but I would challenge their perception that's it is 5 courses.
If dishes are served together then that equal one course...a roast dinner, for example, of meat, potato, veg, yorkshire pud is not 4 courses. Similarly, a meat/fish curry + rice is one course.
And I've never heard of tea/coffee being considered to be a meal course.
That said, I enjoy Indian food and will probably attend.....
.....but one thing tends to baffle me, why don't Indian restaurants advertise that they sell glasses of milk....when affected by hot curry/chilli, milk is amazingly effective in cooling the mouth.
