BRIGG NEEDS YOU!

Looking for a seasonal, unpaid commitment that guarantees to reward the holder with recognition and  community appreciation, then read on....
The Brigg & District Branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) is seeking an organiser, or, indeed, a small group of folk, to co-ordinate the local Poppy Appeal for the Brigg, Scawby and Hibaldstow area.
The Brigg and District Poppy Appeal has gone from strength to strength and reflects the local community's respect for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice; have been disabled in times of conflict and those and their family members who suffer hardship in later years.
The position of the Poppy Appeal organiser will be fully supported by the Branch.
The role will obviously demand commitment. The use of a car is an essential prerequisite.  The organiser does not have to be a member of the RBL, or, indeed, to have served in the Armed Forces.
Still interested and feel you have the time and talents to assume this important role, but would like further information, please contact the Branch's Vice Chairman and Publicity Officer, Llewellyn Gudgeon on 01652 658979, or e-mail him on gudgeons@talktalk.net
The next meeting of the Brigg & District RBL Branch will be at 7.30pm, on Thursday, 26th May at the Servicemen's Club, Brigg.
