BRIGG SOGGY SATURDAY REFLECTIONS

Today has seen further examples of non-locals visiting the Old Courts Road car park, leaving their vehicles and heading to the ticket machine to key in the registration numbers.
Parking is free all day Saturday and Sunday - no ticket required.
However, many visitors don't realise this. You may have seen some of them yourself.
Improved or additional signage might help.
Meanwhile, another rainy morning has highlighed the long-standing (literally) problem of surface water gathering on the paving where Cressey Yard meets Wrawby Street.
Following, or during, heavy rainfall, shoppers have to wade through a large puddle, which is too wide to step over.
Any chance someone from North Lincolnshire Council could take a look?
