BRIGG FOLK CAN ENJOY EASTER MONDAY AT MARKET RASEN RACES


Market Rasen Racecourse is promising a fantastic family day out as it stages the first major fixture of the year on Easter Monday.
An array of free entertainment is being laid on for young and old alike on ‘Charlie & The Chocolate Factory Family Fun Day’ on 28th March.
A big crowd always attends the bank holiday meeting, so families are being invited to come along and meet the Easter Bunny, Willy Wonka and Umpah Lumpa - and enjoy a giant Easter egg hunt, bouncy castle, face painter, rodeo chocolate Easter egg, fairground slide, pony hoppers, giant deck chairs, fairground stalls, bouncy castle, bungee run and giant garden games.
A special advance ticket offer is available too, saving 30 per cent on on-the-day prices, making the occasion even more affordable. Two tickets for the Tattersalls Enclosure and two bags of sweets can be purchased for only £25.

On the day, as well as an exciting programme of jump racing, the winner of the “Face of Ladies’ Day” for 2016 will be announced live at the racecourse.

Accompanied under 18s are admitted free of charge to the racecourse on Easter Monday. Adult tickets bought in advance are £9 (Lawn Enclosure), £16.20 (Tattersalls) and £22.50 (County Enclosure). On the day, it’s £10, £18 and £25 respectively for adults.
Racing is between 1.20pm and 4.45pm, with gates open from two hours before the first race.
