NEW BRIGG HOMES PLAN GOES BEFORE COMMITTEE TODAY

A decision on whether eight new town houses can be built in Brigg could be made today (Wednesday, January 13).
An application for planning permission to build homes on the former school canteen site in Colton Street will be considered by North Lincolnshire Council's planning committee.
It meets today, from 2pm, at Scunthorpe Civic Centre.
Run Developments have submitted the application.
The planning committee could decide the application today. But councillors always have the option of making a site visit and then deciding an application at a later date.
The North Lincolnshire planning committee meets monthly. Its chairman is Coun Nigel Sherwood (Brigg & Wolds).
