POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER COMING TO BRIGG

Matthew Grove, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside, is said to be very keen to accept Brigg Town Council's invitation to speak at a future meeting.
There have been concerns expressed about the change in status of the town's police station in Barnard Avenue. Although still open and staffed, it is no longer a base for neighbourhood policing or traffic officers.
Members of Brigg Town Council with specific points to raise with Mr Grove have been asked to make them known to the Town Clerk.
The Commissioner could be at the January meeting, although this is yet to be confirmed.
All Town Council meetings are open to interested members of the public.

Our picture shows Mr Grove when he last attended a Brigg Town Council meeting, in the Angel Suite, to speak to local representatives.
