PUB RALLIES ROUND TO HELP BRIGG TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB

AMBER ALERT: Pop into the Dying Gladiator pub in the town centre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and each drink you buy will help Brigg Town FC.

The Dying Gladiator pub in Brigg is to undertake special fundraising for Brigg Town Football Club over the coming days. And YOU can help by paying a visit and contributing.
Having suffered relegation at the end of last season, the Zebras have made a poor start to the new campaign in a lower league. Now electrical problems have affected the clubhouse and led to the cancellation of a scheduled floodlit match at The Hawthorns last night, Wednesday.
The Dying Gladiator, in Bigby Street, is declaring itself a Support Brigg Town Zone.
Between 11am tomorrow (Friday) and 11pm on Sunday, it will be donating 20p from each pint, bottle and shot sold and £1 per bottle of wine and prosecco.
There will also be scratchcards and other fundraising to help Brigg Town FC.
It is hoped to raise in the region of £500 to assist the club, which was founded 150 years ago.
The Glad says it is important that Brigg pubs and clubs work together to support each other, where possible. It has also taken an advertising board at The Hawthorns over the past couple of years.
Brigg Blog is sure everyone in town will congratulate Glyn and Eugene at The Glad for their generous gesture. Now it's up to the rest of us to pay the hostelry a visit, if not several, during the offer period and make a telling contribution.
Raise your glass in support of the Zebras!
