WILL BRIGG TRAFFIC LIGHTS MAKE THE CUT?

Brigg Blog has been sent this picture and alert relating to the changes just introduced on the A18: "The new traffic lights are still being set up, but isn't there an issue when travelling towards Lidl, in that the only ones visible at the Grammar School Road  junction are the red ones even if the straight-on ones are green? A bit of bush trimming may be needed!"

Similarly, the TL at the junction of Wesley Rd and BA are obscured by tree foliage from the nearby nursery....
But travelling about the country, there does appear that more road signs & etc are obscured by flora......perhaps a consequence of the general financial cut-back by councils on their tight budgets......although an accident may occur if someone doesn't spot a stop sign amongst the hawthorn bushes!
But can such problems be solved by direct action? Cutting a few branches off offending over-hanging trees is not rocket science.....but getting rid of the off-cuts lying on the pavement could prove a problem....
Do we have anyone who could coordinate volunteers with a NLC truck circulating the area?
