Are we the first to notice a decrease in pigeons in Brigg town centre?
We thought it was very quiet this morning as we walked from Old Courts Road, through to Wrawby Street and the Market Place.
Then we twigged that the now-familiar background noise afforded by the pigeon population was absent.
On two visits we saw only a couple of birds in the Market Place and one in Wrawby Street.
There was also much less pigeon muck evident on the flagstones.

Only boy pigeons coo, Nige......it could be that the lady pigeons were playing bingo when you passed by.
....or, of course, the pigeons were having a Sunday morning lie-in after a night on the tiles!
....or, perhaps, more folks are enjoying pigeon pig...cheap alternative to fish fingers..
....or, naturally, there are known buzzards in the area....and they'll scare the living daylights out of any pigeon!

Hearing a tawny owl calling 'Too-Whit..Too-Woo' at night, how many owls can you hear?
ANSWER: 2 - a female owl calling 'Too-whit', while a male replies, 'Too-Woo'.....
