MONDAY, MONDAY IN BUSY BRIGG

There was a famous late 1960s song about Monday, Monday. Today the background music in our town centre  is being provided by busy tills banking cash in Brigg businesses.
For there are plenty of folk about, despite the threat of  being caught by a summer shower and the fact that many folk will have spent a good amount of "hard earned" over the weekend.
We note that Cardzone, in Wrawby Street, is looking for a temporary shop assistant, if you know someone who's seeking a job.  Apply within.
The boat we posted about earlier today has now left its temporary River Ancholme berth near the White Hart pub and the County Bridge.
The river is very clear at present, which unfortunately reveals a "good" growth of weed beneath the surface. Perhaps one of those welcome "cuts" is imminent from a boat specially hired for this purpose.
