JUDGING STARTS IN BRIGG BEST-KEPT GARDEN COMPETITION 2015

Judging taking place last year.
Judges are doing their rounds of front/side gardens in Brigg as the first stage in the annual competition to choose the best-kept in town.
Councillors, in small groups, will be walking around different parts of town to report back on the best their see. Their observations, as always, will be made from the path or roadside.
The competition will culminate in presentations during September, in the Angel Suite.
There is another competition to choose the top allotments, prizes again being presented during the Town Mayor's end-of-summer coffee morning.

Good to see that it is defined 'front/side' garden....one person I know was denied entry for several years after being told that his end of terrace side garden did not qualify as it was not a 'front' garden...
