ANGLIAN WATER TO START WORK IN BRIGG?

Driving back from attending last night's two committee meetings of Brigg Town Council in the Angel Suite we had to slow to walking pace halfway down St Helen's Road to sqeeze past a  lorry  parked next to two neat rows of orange cones, placed next to the kerb on either side of the street.
Earlier this morning we used the same stretch of road and noticed two Anglian Water vans and an excavating machine parked up in the turning area/lay-bay which is halfway down St Helen's Road.
Perhaps the conclusion is that some kind of repair/replacement work is imminent.
Should this prove to be the case, drivers may consider using King's Avenue as a way into, and out of, the housing estate.
