Paul Johnson, of the campaigning Friends of the Brigg Line group, tells us a couple came by train from Derbyshire to Brigg last Saturday.
Fly-tipping was evident near Brigg station but the couple, who came from Creswell for the first time by train, did some shopping and said they were impressed with our town.
Paul reckons a return ticket from Worksop (Notts) to Brigg is £18.10p but those who travel from Creswell, which is further away, can do so for only £10.60p!
