BRIGG STATION IMPROVEMENTS

One small step for man...
One swallow doesn't make a summer, etc, etc.
But there's no getting away from the fact that this new seating just installed at Brigg railway station is a step in the right direction.
A new footbridge is to follow, though the design, with steps, has caused concerns about access, with calls for a more expensive structure with ramps.
That aside, what we really, really need is to see more trains on more days of the week.

Talking about swallows....I spied one in Wrawby St last Saturday.....
This afternoon a couple were convinced that the distinctive nest under the roof eaves above Boots was a swallows....little black and white heads were sticking out.
I pointed out that swallows had red patches on their throats....and the little heads were just black and white.
'Oh no, they are swallows', they assertively claimed.
'Swallows, they are not.'
'YES, they are....'
Then we parted.......
Just for info.....the roof eave's nest belong to house martins...
