Planning permission is being sought for proposed  retention of shop fronts and rear external alterations to the former Coleman's Restaurant, in Queen Street, Brigg - within the Conservation Area.
When Brigg Town Council's Planning & Environment Committee considered the application during its latest meeting in the Angel Suite Lounge, it was decided the authority should "object to the choice of double glazed window units."
Those views will be passed to North Lincolnshire Council planners who make decisions on all  applications across the district.
