BRIGG BEER FESTIVAL OPENS TONIGHT

Just a reminder that Brigg District Lions' annual beer festival opens tonight (Thursday) behind the Nelthorpe Arms, in Bridge Street, and will continue until Sunday, with 30 beers and ciders on offer.
It's a new venue for this popular annual event, and your support will be very welcome.
The Lions do much good work within the community and always put the proceeds of their fundraisers to very good use.
We have already posted a list of the various brews on offer.  Hopefully we will see you there at some point.
For the benefit of those people picking up this message outside the Brigg area, your designated driver for a trip to the beer festival is advised to turn off the A18 at the Cary Lane traffic lights (near Tesco and the police station). Continue to the turning circle near the bus stop and Wilko's. Turn right at the circle and when you reach the disused 'to let' Lidl store, park up on the right or the left. These areas both offer free parking. Get out the car and walk a few yards over the County Bridge. You will then see the Nelthorpe Arms on your left. Only very limited parking is available in Bridge Street, outside the pub.
