BRIGG FOLK HEADING TO EASTER MONDAY RACES

Many people from the Brigg area like to attend the race meetings at Market Rasen, and Easter Monday will see the end of an era at the Lincolnshire course.
It will be long-serving general manager Pip Kirkby's last before she moves on to a new job.
Plenty of family entertainment is being provided on Monday (6th April) with seven exciting horse races, a chance to meet the Easter Bunny and visit the petting zoo for children.  There will be Sam The Entertainer, a bouncy castle, a fairground slide and a face painter.
Pip,  who first joined the business in 1998, said: “Easter Monday is my final fixture as General Manager and I will be very sad to say goodbye to the racecourse after 17 wonderful years as I head off to become the new chief executive of The Pony Club.
“I’m delighted that we are putting on such a lot of entertainment for families for the Easter fixture.  It should be a splendid day out for everyone.”
The new General Manager is Nadia Gollings.
Racing starts at 2pm and 2.15pm respectively with gates open two hours before the first race.
