PUB CRAWL ROUND BRIGG IN CHARITY SHOP CLOTHING

More than 30 people toured Brigg pubs on Saturday night – in a very good cause.
They all donned charity shop clothes and joined regulars at  various hostelries who put cash in collecting tins for the Sue Ryder foundation, which has a shop in Spring’s Parade.
We were surprised to see such a big group piling into the Black Bull, in Wrawby Street, just before we got there.
They were accompanied by a man in  Mexican attire who appeared to be playing a guitar. Closer inspection revealed it to be a ukulele.
Later, we saw many of the party again in the Britannia, where they were enjoying the karaoke.
It was called the Brigg (Charity Shop) Decathlon.
