It’s heartening to see many saplings have been planted in front of
the tall metal security fence which marks the boundary of the industrial complex near
Brigg railway station's former yard and approach. This picture was taken near the tractor
business.
Until relatively recently there was a mature hawthorn hedge
further along in the Bigby direction (see picture below).
A good few years from now, the saplings will become trees and obscure the functional but ugly metal fencing.
