BRIGG CLUB MOVING WITH THE TIMES

Brigg Servicemen's Club is not far short of 100 years old but is moving with the times.
Members now get key fobs to "swipe" in and out of the Coney Court premises -  replacing plastic cards.
Members who do not visit all that often should note  they need to pop in and exchange card for key fob. That's even if they have already paid their subs for 2015.

Anyone know exactly how old the Servicemen's Club is?
Brigg Infants' School was on the site at one time b4 moving to Grammar School Road (Youth Club site)...

Here's a novel suggestion -
Brigg's retail high street is Wrawby Street and the alleys off....

1. NLC gives the old building and land to the rear of the Servicemen's Club to the Club.

2.In exchange, NLC buys the part of the Servicemen's Club building, which is adjacent to Wilko's.

3. The Servicemen's Clubs uses the proceeds of land sale to build a new extension on the site of the old building - as per '1'.

4. Meanwhile, NLC improves Old Court Road and extends the road thro' the now vacant gap, crossing Carey Lane, to Springs Way....and leading to Springs Parade.

5. With a minimum amount of disruption, Brigg has acquired another potential high street, close to parking facilities, for development that complements Wrawby St and inter-connects with the alley-ways etc...
