Latest crime statistics for Brigg have been revealed by www.Police.uk
They are for September 2014 and show that within a one-mile radius of the police station there were 34 crimes - not much more than one a day.
The types of crime recorded were:

- Shoplifting 4
- Bicycle theft 3
- Criminal damage and arson 3
- Other theft 2
- Other crime 1
- Vehicle crime 1
- Drugs 0
- Possession of weapons 0
- Public order 0
- Robbery 0
- Theft from the person 0
There were nine crimes in the town centre and eight on the Newlands estate and Atherton Way area.
In August there were 33 crimes reported.
