BUSY PROGRAMME FOR BRIGG AMATEUR SOCIAL HISTORIANS

Brigg Amateur Social Historians (BASH) have announced their programme of meetings for autumn 2014.
Leaflets have been printed and you can pick up a copy in various Brigg shops and other outlets.
Founded in 2003, BASH meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 8pm at Brigg Servicemen's Club, near the main Old Courts Road car park (free parking available in the evenings).
Admission to BASH nights is FREE, a raffle being held to help defray costs. Just turn up - no need to book in advance.
SEPTEMBER 2: All in a Day's Work - The Women's Land Army. Illustrated talk by Josie Webb.
OCTOBER 7: The Highest Excellent Princess - Lady Anne Mowbray. Illustrated talk by Marilyn Roberts.
NOVEMBER 4: Mary Queen of Scots - The Captive Queen, 1568-1584. Illustrated talk by David Templeman.
DECEMBER 2: Frodingham Ironstone - The Rock That Built Scunthorpe. Illustrated talk by Paul Hildreth.
